Hello there! I'm Dylan and my story is something rather special. When I arrived here at Little Heroes Sanctuary in June 2021, I was so severely malnourished I wasn't able to support my own weight when I was taken out of my carry case. I was also covered in oil and had to be shaved. The vets believed that I had been run over but after several tests and x-rays it was discovered that I had been without nutrition for a long time. Despite only being given 2-3 days to live by the vets, here I am!

I can often be found lounging in the sun and keeping an eye on everyone at the sanctuary! I’m very perceptive and don’t like to miss a thing. I have an incredible swagger that can rival that of Hollywood stars and don’t I know it. I’m also incredibly partial to a slice of ham and can be incredibly charming to secure my treat.

I need an owner who is happy to let me be independent and allow me to come to them - once I get used to you, I enjoy a groom. Sometimes I get angry and I lash out at legs and ankles, I don't mean to and I do this when I'm reminded of something that has upset me in my past. I also need to be in a rural area where there are no other cats or animals nearby as they too upset. I'm used to having a walk here with Tina at Filey Cat Rescue and I would love to continue this in my new home. After lots of work with the humans at Filey Cat Rescue, I’ve become a sweet boy with bags of personality, as well as sass! If you think you have the resources and time for me, please fill out a Fostering and Adoption Form - thank you!
