Oh, hello! My name is Philippa and I’ve been living at the Little Heroes Sanctuary for just over a year. When the humans found me in May 2021, I was begging for scraps outside takeaways in Eastfield and nibbling on burnt Yorkshire puddings outside a nearby estate, but getting thinner and thinner every day.

Now, my life has completely turned around - I have my own little cottage all to myself, with lots of hiding places and all the food I could wish for. I do love snacking on some surf ‘n’ turf, but my favourite thing to do is curl up on my rug for an afternoon nap next to my little heater.

This year, I had surgery to remove a non-invasive melanoma, as well as nine snapped nerve endings, from the back of my throat, so I’m still in recovery-mode. With a monthly donation to Filey Cat Rescue, you can help keep me happy and healthy with fresh food, new toys, and all the follow-up care I need, so please - if you can - click the button on the left to make a contribution!
