Greetings, I’m Oscar and I’m also a miracle! A concerned member of the public got in contact with Filey Cat Rescue on 16 June as they had been feeding me for quite some time. The team came out to see me and were able to safely trap me. The team were absolutely delighted that when I was scanned, I had a chip. My owner was called and a staggering 7 years later after my disappearance, I was reunited with my owner. I had originally gone missing from Crossgates but had been retrieved from Cayton. It appears that over the years, I had made way to a neighbouring village. Although my owner was found, I’m unfortunately unable to return to her.

I’m a very quiet chap and lacking in confidence; however, I loved to be cuddled! Despite lacking human contact for such a long time, I give excellent kisses and cuddles. I’m looking for someone who is willing to be patient with me to build up my confidence. If you think you could help, have a go at filling out our Fostering and Adoption Form.
