Hi - I'm Maverick! I came to Filey Cat Rescue after a vet practice in York got in touch with the humans here at the sanctuary, hoping to find me a place of refuge. I had been brought into the vets after I had been attacked by a dog, resulting in the amputation of 70% of my tail. Unfortunately, I was unmicrochipped and the vets were unable to locate my owner after much trying! Our Operations Assistant, Tom, then collected me from York and was brought me back to Little Heroes Sanctuary, where I have been recovering.

I'm pleased to say that I am ready for my new home and have adapted well to my different body! I would love a home where I can venture outside as I love to explore.
