Hiya – my name is Munton. I arrived at Filey Cat Rescue after a lovely lady found me living in one of her business buildings. Concerned for my welfare, as I looked incredibly poorly, she called the humans at Filey Cat Rescue to come and lend me a hand. As soon as I was picked up from Bridlington, I headed straight for the vets as I was in such a bad condition, so much so it looked like I might not make it! Thankfully after some tests, it was determined that I had a severe case of cat flu which had affected other organs in my body. With some rest, love and medication I should make a full recovery. After a few short weeks here at Little Heroes Sanctuary, I am already making huge progress! I am already much brighter and livelier and although I am still poorly I am well on the road to recovery.

When I arrived, I was absolutely filthy and needed a nice bath due to the build-up of dirt I had accumulated over a long period of time. I’m going to be here a little while longer until I am in tip-top condition and then I will begin my search for my forever home. When the humans picked me up, they were expecting me to be a feral cat who wasn’t used to humans, but although it does appear that I have been living at least as a stray for quite some time, I absolutely love humans! I am a very affectionate gentlemen who will be around your legs giving you lots of attention.

If you want to give me a hand in my recovery, you can donate to Filey Cat Rescue to help my friends and I.
